Showcasing local talent and a cruisey long weekend in Port Fairy.

Rhapsody in June runs over the June long weekend to promote Port Fairy's musicians and artists, and to showcase independent talent.

The festival provides entertainment for the many visitors to Port Fairy over the weekend and provides a program of events for visitors and residents of the town and region to enjoy indoors.

2006 Festival Highlights

Gala Opening , Friday 6:30 pm
Gala Art Exhibition & Art Auction at Whalebone Gallery, 39a Bank Street, 5568 2855.
“Portfolios” – exhibition of 8x10 inch works by local artists.

Live Music
Local venues participating include hotels, cafés, pubs
Simon Philips Trio & more to be announced

The Duyfken
Go aboard the Duyfken, the replica Dutch ship which explored Australia in 1606. Gold coin donation.

Port Fairy's Fine Art Galleries and Studios
Open all weekend

Craft Market
Bustling Saturday morning market at Railway Place.
