Leopards

Hunting

The leopard is a very clever hunter and it eats a lot of different types of animals from the tiny field mice to the huge wilderbeast three times bigger than them. It depends what there is available, the leopard is quite happy to eat smaller animals like fish, mice, frogs and lizards because it is easier than hunting a wild beast.

Leopards have been seen lifting up rocks in creeks and picking up crabs and eating them. In Africa some of the larger animals that the leopards hunt is the wild pig, the zebras, and impalas.
